In a nutshell; good food, though the food took quite a while so seems they get an influx of orders and may get rather busy, still it goes to show the food is good. Went on a Saturday around dinner time , got quickly sat down but after our orders were taken it took quite a while before one of orders arrived. It may just be a relatively busy dinner time as they had a ton of pick up orders on deck. Nonetheless, the food was great despite the wait. The servers were accommodating and kind, never had a moment where my glass had no water. Overall maybe it was just a tough night so I'll keep the rating high as food was good. Parking was easy and they're not the biggest establishment but they have enough seats to accommodate for any number of parties.

My most recent visit, tried the Curry Fried Rice (your choice of red, green, or yellow and a protein), and the Spicy Pompano special. Other specials I saw posted were Crab Fried Rice and Basil Pork Belly. Got the green curry fried rice with shrimp (headless, tail-on). This was wet (in a good way, as opposed to the Bangkok Fried Rice which has dry yellow curry powder mixed in) and had basil, bell peppers, and onions too. Doesn't have all the veg you would expect with an actual curry entree (green beans, eggplant), but it was sooo good. The pompano was not spicy to me at all, which was fine, considering the spice level choices on the menu ranged from mild/medium/hot/Thai spicy/MONSTER Spicy. Not sure how it was prepared (no menu description), but likely fried and had sweet chili sauce. It was a pretty big portion, although smaller than say, a whole tilapia. I usually have had pompano grilled or steamed, but nonetheless the meat was still soft and mildly sweet. Since it was near the end of the night, they were out of the fresh tamarind juice, I'm curious to try it. Bathroom was clean, follow the signs. Not overly busy/loud, relaxing guitar music, and pleasant service. They even accepted a dine-in party of 2 with less than 20 minutes to closing! When the weather cools down, I'll be back for some hot Tom Yum[my] Soup for sure!

The eggplant was pretty good. Some places make it too salty and this dish was just right, but seemed like it was missing spice. The place didn't offer a spice level so I forgot to mention it. The pad Thai was alright. I pre-ordered these two dishes 4 days prior for pick up and when I picked it up they forgot so I waited 10 min for them to prep the order. What you see in the picture was two box orders of both dishes that was placed on a plate to serve at home. The service was friendly and it's a family-owned business which is great!

We've been coming here for take out for years. This whole plaza has a good variety of options and plenty of parking and Bangkok Garden is a reliable spot for delicious food. They have so many options, including some I've only seen here, as well as a whole vegan menu. It's easy to find something everyone can enjoy. I always order the Tom Kha soup with tofu ($5.95) and I love trying different menu items along with it. On my latest visit I ordered the lunch Green Curry ($11.95) and Pad Thai with pork ($13.95), along with two Thai iced teas ($4/each). Other dishes I've loved are their BKG Special Pad Thai, drunken mama noodles, all their curries and appetizers like their egg rolls. The staff is always friendly and since I've been ordering take out it's usually just the interaction of paying and receiving my order. The dining room has plenty of seating and is great for a family meal or date.

4/4/24. Pouring down rain and I was craving Tom Yum soup! Also, I couldn't stop thinking bout the Pad Thai at Thai Orchid in Citrus Heights, so I tried to look for that same Pad Thai around Natomas. We drove here and ordered at the counter. EVERY ONE HERE IS SUPER NICE! I gave 3 to 4 stars for the food, but their service here is OUTSTANDING! Simple gestures of kindness goes a long way. 3/5 stars. Pad Thai Chicken & Shrimp $14.95+ Pan fried rice stick noodles with prawns, chicken, eggs, bean sprouts, fried tofu and green onions - Flavorful! More on the sweeter side than savory. I think what's difficult is that I'm comparing it to the pad thai at Thai Orchid. I just loved how it had that subtle umami shrimp, chicken and especially egg flavor that kept me craving for more without being drowsy/sleepy. On a positive note, I love how BGK gives you large portions of bean sprouts, cabbage, shrimp, chicken and tofu. Still delicious! 3/5 stars. BGK Special Pad Thai $15.95+ Comes with Chicken, Shrimp, Tofu, bean sprouts and shredded cabbage. You can choose, red or green or yellow curry. - Fiancé almost ate all of it but he started getting drowsy and sleepy so he stopped. Still delicious! The curry noodles are drenched in curry. Lots of flavorful umami! I love the curry flavor! Big chunks of shrimp, chicken and tofu. This reminds me of a some what asian fusion. Never had curry pad thai in my life lol. 4/5 stars. Tom Yum Vegetable Soup $5.95+. Lemongrass, mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, galangal, kaffir leaves. - Since I chose the vegetable option, it had big pieces of cilantro, lettuce, zucchini, and carrots. More on the sweeter size. The vegetables took a way a bit of the flavor, but I loved how they gave me a regular size tub instead of a cup. Also, they gave lots of vegetables and I love veggies! Delicious! The ambiance of the place seems like an authentic Thai restaurant. Beautiful orchids and shrine decoration at the front. It wasn't busy when we came in at 5PM, so it was calm and peaceful. Need to try other things in their menu. If I'm craving Tom Yum soup, I'll definitely come back here. Happy eat's ya'll!

We came here on a Sunday evening after going to the snow. There was plenty of parking in this plaza. There was a sign saying that they were understaffed so the wait for food may be long. We had a group of 5, we started with some laab, Tom Kha, crispy chicken, pad Thai, we ordered rice and some Vietnamese iced coffee. They have a restroom and the workers were very friendly. It didn't take too long for the food to come out and it was pretty good. I just wanted soup to the Tom Kha was on point. Tom Kha is like Tom yum but with coconut milk. They have a ton of options on their menu. The food was really good and there were tons of people.

Came to dine in tonight and I had a great experience here! The staff was very welcoming and friendly when I came in. I was initially asked if I needed a regular menu or a vegan one, so they have plenty of accommodations for those that need it. I also loved the decorations and homey feeling that the restaurant gave off. It was my first time here and the waitress gave me a recommendation for the Thai Egg Rolls to start. It arrived pretty quickly and upon initial bite it reminded me of my mom's home cooked food so of course I enjoyed that a lot! For my entree, I got the pad thai spicy and the portion itself was huge just for me. The spice was exactly what I needed since I'm a huge lover of spicy foods. During my meal, different waitresses continued to check in on me which was very nice and my water was never empty! I'll definitely be back to visit to try different entrees since they have a lot to choose from :)

Been dining at BG from their previous location many many years ago and the menu still continues with delicious dishes taste never changed and that's what you go back for more. Staring with Thai tea and soup in that flaming pot then a noodle dish , curry dish , crispy tofu , garlic prawns a must and don't skip dessert like sticky rice and mangos when available. Thank you for many years of service and good food! Parking available
